Photos and Merchandise Available from Yoga Unites for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Next Event Scheduled
6th annual outdoor yoga class and Healthy Living Expo brought together hundreds to share the healing effects of yoga while raising funds and awareness for LBBC’s education and support programs

Photos and merchandise from the 6th Annual Yoga Unites for Living Beyond Breast Cancer are now available to view or purchase online.
On Sunday, May 18, more than 500 individuals and teams of all ages and walks of life joined LBBC on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Participants experienced the healing benefits of this ancient form of physical movement while raising over $60,000 for LBBC’s education and support programs.

About Yoga Unites
Our program began with the inspirational story of two-time breast cancer survivor and yoga instructor Sandy Ward followed by a yoga class for people of all ages and skill levels led by instructor Jennifer Schelter. During the class, the musical group Samadhi Kirtan performed Kirtan chanting, one of the oldest musical traditions. Afterward, participants enjoyed a light breakfast and live entertainment while browsing our Healthy Living Expo featuring a wealth of information on fitness, natural cosmetics, healthful foods and other complementary goods and services.
Congratulations to our top fundraisers John Turino, Beatrice Marx and Ari Bogom-Shanon, and a big thank you to all who participated, volunteered and donated funds for this inspiring event.
